I know the kitties and I haven’t posted for a while, and definitely not regularly, but we are hoping to change all that starting now! Thank you for hanging in there … regular programming will ensue shortly.
A Boy and His Goat
Diego has abducted my toy goat. He runs around the house with his new baby in his mouth, hissing at Dora if she even looks at it the wrong way.
The best part is that this toy goat bleats when squeezed. So our days are interrupted by random bleating throughout the house depending on Diego’s location, which is amusing – except when it happens in the middle of the night.

The pink “leg warmer” on her back paw is the morphine patch she had to ease the pain. Her front paw’s “natural leg warmer” was created when the vets shaved her little arm so they could hook her up to an i.v. (You can also see the stitches on her belly). Everytime I saw her, I couldn’t stop singing Olivia Newton-John’s “Let’s Get Physical.”
And here’s Diego trying to break into Dora’s room, curious about what’s happening to his sister behind these closed doors.
On Top of the World
The kitties’ new favorite spot is on top of the armoire …
And Dora likes to express her love for this piece of furniture by putting on it her version of bunny ears:

So you can stop and smell the bamboo (conveniently located among lots and lots of alcohol).
